These Terms and Conditions of Use constitute a legally binding agreement between you and FootScoreCY, including its affiliates, subsidiaries, commercial partners, successors, and assigns governing your access to and use of the FootScore platform, website, applications, content, competitions, prediction services, promotional activities, rewards systems, and all related services made available through the Platform. By accessing, browsing, registering for, interacting with, or otherwise using the Platform in any capacity whatsoever, you expressly acknowledge that you have carefully read, understood, and agreed to be legally bound by these Terms together with any additional policies referenced herein, including our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy. If you do not agree with these Terms in their entirety, you must immediately discontinue all use of the Platform. These Terms apply to all visitors, registered users, participants, sponsors, advertisers, and any other persons accessing the Platform.
1. INTRODUCTION AND PURPOSE OF THE PLATFORM FootScore is an entertainment and sports engagement platform designed to allow users to participate in football-related prediction activities, rankings, community interaction, promotional campaigns, sponsor activations, and digital competitions. The Platform may include score predictions, points systems, rankings, giveaways, branded promotions, statistics, interactive features, social integrations, and other sports-related entertainment services that may evolve over time. The Platform is intended strictly for entertainment, engagement, and promotional purposes. FootScore is not a gambling operator, bookmaker, betting intermediary, casino, investment service, financial advisor, or licensed wagering platform. No real-money betting services are provided through the Platform unless expressly stated otherwise in the future and only where legally authorised and licensed to do so. All rankings, points, predictions, rewards, and competitions available on the Platform are provided solely as part of an entertainment experience intended to increase user interaction and engagement within the football community. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, discontinue, expand, or restrict any part of the Platform or its services at any time and without prior notice.
2. ELIGIBILITY AND LEGAL CAPACITY By using the Platform, you confirm and warrant that you are at least eighteen (18) years of age and possess full legal capacity to enter into binding agreements under the laws applicable in your jurisdiction. If you are accessing the Platform on behalf of a company, organisation, or other legal entity, you further represent and warrant that you have authority to bind such entity to these Terms. You further confirm that your use of the Platform does not violate any law, regulation, contractual obligation, or restriction applicable to you. Access to the Platform may be restricted in certain jurisdictions, and it is solely your responsibility to ensure that your use of the Platform is lawful where you are located. FootScore reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to request documentation verifying age, identity, residency, or eligibility. Failure to provide satisfactory verification when requested may result in suspension or permanent termination of access to the Platform. Users under the age of eighteen are strictly prohibited from registering Accounts or participating in Platform activities.
3. ACCOUNT REGISTRATION AND SECURITY Certain functionalities of the Platform may require users to create a registered Account. When registering an Account, you agree to provide complete, accurate, truthful, and upto-date information and to maintain the accuracy of such information at all times. You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of your Account credentials, including usernames and passwords, and for all activities occurring under your Account whether authorised by you or not. You agree to notify FootScore immediately if you suspect any unauthorised access, misuse, or breach of security relating to your Account. Users may not create Accounts using false identities, impersonate other persons or organisations, create multiple Accounts for abusive or manipulative purposes, or transfer or sell Accounts to third parties without written authorisation from FootScore. FootScore reserves the unrestricted right to suspend, restrict, investigate, deactivate, or permanently terminate any Account where we reasonably suspect fraudulent activity, manipulation, abusive conduct, breach of these Terms, unlawful activity, or conduct harmful to the Platform, its users, sponsors, or commercial interests. We further reserve the right to refuse registration requests for any reason whatsoever and without obligation to provide justification.
4. USER CONDUCT AND ACCEPTABLE USE
Users agree to access and use the Platform responsibly, lawfully, and in good faith. You acknowledge that the integrity, fairness, security, and functionality of the Platform are essential to the experience of all users and commercial partners. Accordingly, users shall not engage in any conduct that may damage, disrupt, interfere with, compromise, manipulate, overburden, or otherwise negatively affect the Platform, its systems, users, or commercial relationships. Prohibited conduct includes, without limitation, the use of bots, scripts, automated systems, artificial engagement techniques, scraping technologies, fraudulent prediction manipulation, exploitation of technical vulnerabilities, unauthorised data extraction, reverse engineering, malicious software uploads, denial-of-service attacks, unauthorised commercial exploitation, harassment, threats, discriminatory behaviour, defamatory conduct, impersonation, unlawful content publication, or any activity intended to artificially influence rankings, competitions, statistics, or promotions. Users further agree not to attempt unauthorised access to servers, databases, administrative systems, APIs, source code, or security infrastructure associated with the Platform. FootScore reserves the absolute right to investigate suspicious behaviour and cooperate with law enforcement authorities, regulators, courts, sponsors, or other third parties where legally required or commercially necessary. Any violation of this section may result in immediate suspension or permanent termination of access to the Platform without prior warning.
5. PREDICTIONS, COMPETITIONS, RANKINGS, AND POINTS The Platform may provide users with the opportunity to participate in prediction-based competitions, rankings, leaderboards, seasonal campaigns, promotional activities, and points systems. Users acknowledge and agree that all scoring methodologies, competition structures, ranking calculations, and reward systems are determined solely by FootScore and may be amended, modified, recalculated, reset, or discontinued at any time. Points accumulated through participation on the Platform hold no monetary value, do not constitute property rights, and may not be redeemed for cash unless expressly stated otherwise by FootScore in writing. Points are non-transferable and may not be sold, exchanged, assigned, or commercially exploited. FootScore reserves the right to invalidate predictions, adjust rankings, revoke rewards, disqualify users, or remove points where suspicious, abusive, fraudulent, or manipulative activity is detected.
All Platform decisions relating to competitions, rankings, scoring calculations, prizes, and eligibility shall be final and binding.
6. REWARDS, GIVEAWAYS, AND PROMOTIONAL CAMPAIGNS From time to time, FootScore and its Sponsors may provide promotional campaigns, giveaways, rewards, discounts, merchandise, event tickets, digital incentives, sponsor offers, vouchers, branded experiences, or other benefits to users. Users acknowledge that all rewards and promotional benefits are subject to availability and may be modified, replaced, delayed, suspended, or withdrawn at any time without prior notice. Participation in promotions may be subject to additional campaign-specific terms and eligibility requirements. FootScore reserves the right to verify participant eligibility before distributing rewards and may refuse prize distribution where fraud, abuse, manipulation, duplicate Accounts, or breach of these Terms is suspected. Users are solely responsible for any taxes, reporting obligations, customs duties, or governmental charges arising from rewards or prizes received. Sponsors may independently administer certain aspects of promotions, and FootScore shall not be responsible for sponsor conduct, sponsor products, sponsor fulfilment delays, or third-party promotional disputes.
7. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS All intellectual property rights associated with the Platform and its contents remain the exclusive property of FootScore and/or its licensors. This includes, without limitation, all trademarks, trade names, logos, software, databases, graphics, algorithms, rankings systems, designs, interfaces, audiovisual material, text, compilations, statistics, source code, branding elements, and proprietary technologies made available through the Platform. Nothing contained within the Platform or these Terms shall be interpreted as granting users any ownership rights, licences, or commercial rights in relation to the Platform or its intellectual property except for the limited, revocable, non-exclusive right to access the Platform for personal and non-commercial use in accordance with these Terms. Users may not reproduce, distribute, modify, republish, scrape, commercially exploit, copy, reverse engineer, or otherwise use any part of the Platform without prior written consent from FootScore. Any unauthorised use of the Platform’s intellectual property may result in legal action.
8. PRIVACY, DATA PROCESSING, AND GDPR COMPLIANCE
FootScore is committed to protecting personal data and processing information in accordance with applicable data protection legislation, including the European Union General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679, Cyprus data protection laws, and applicable electronic communications regulations. By using the Platform and/or creating an Account, you expressly acknowledge and consent to the collection, storage, processing, analysis, use, and sharing of information relating to your interaction with the Platform. Such information may include your name, email address, username, IP address, device information, browser information, session data, geographic region, activity logs, participation history, prediction behaviour, engagement metrics, preferences, cookies, and analytical data generated through your use of the Platform. FootScore processes such data for purposes including account administration, platform functionality, analytics, fraud prevention, security monitoring, service improvement, sponsor reporting, marketing optimisation, commercial development, and promotional operations. Users further acknowledge and expressly agree that FootScore may share anonymised, aggregated, statistical, behavioural, and analytical information with Sponsors, advertisers, commercial partners, associated companies, affiliates, and marketing providers for legitimate commercial, analytical, advertising, research, and promotional purposes. Such shared information shall not intentionally identify individual users by full name, personal email address, or other directly identifying personal information unless separate consent is obtained or disclosure is otherwise legally permitted. Examples of anonymised information that may be shared include engagement trends, participation statistics, demographic categories, regional activity patterns, prediction behaviour trends, user interaction metrics, campaign performance data, and aggregated analytical reports. Users expressly acknowledge that anonymised analytical processing and commercial data sharing form an essential operational and commercial component of the Platform. Users retain rights under applicable data protection laws, including rights relating to access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, and objection to certain processing activities, subject to legal limitations and legitimate business interests.
9. COOKIES, ANALYTICS, AND TRACKING TECHNOLOGIES The Platform uses cookies, analytics technologies, tracking systems, session identifiers, behavioural analytics tools, advertising pixels, and similar technologies in order to
operate effectively, enhance user experience, monitor performance, optimise advertising campaigns, prevent fraud, and improve commercial operations. By continuing to access or use the Platform, users consent to the use of such technologies in accordance with our Cookie Policy. Users may disable cookies through browser settings; however, certain features or functionalities of the Platform may become unavailable or impaired as a result.
10. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES, SPONSORS, AND EXTERNAL LINKS The Platform may contain links, integrations, advertisements, sponsor campaigns, social media functionality, or third-party services operated independently from FootScore. FootScore does not control and is not responsible for the content, accuracy, availability, products, services, privacy practices, or operations of third-party platforms, advertisers, or Sponsors. Any interaction between users and third parties occurs solely at the user’s own risk and subject to the applicable third-party terms and policies. FootScore disclaims all liability arising from third-party services, sponsor campaigns, or external websites.
11. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES The Platform and all related services are provided strictly on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise. To the fullest extent permitted by law, FootScore expressly disclaims all warranties relating to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, availability, security, reliability, uninterrupted access, accuracy, or non-infringement. FootScore does not guarantee that the Platform will operate continuously, securely, without interruption, free from errors, free from harmful components, or compatible with all devices or software configurations. Users access and use the Platform entirely at their own risk.
12. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, FootScore, its directors, officers, employees, shareholders, affiliates, sponsors, licensors, contractors, and partners shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, or exemplary damages arising from or connected with the use of the Platform.
This limitation includes, without limitation, damages relating to loss of profits, business interruption, reputational harm, loss of opportunity, loss of data, cyber incidents, unauthorised access, technical failures, sponsor disputes, reward availability, system outages, inaccuracies, or user-generated conduct. Users acknowledge that use of online platforms inherently involves technical and security risks and accept such risks voluntarily. Where liability cannot legally be excluded, FootScore’s aggregate liability shall not exceed the total amount paid by the relevant user to FootScore during the preceding twelve months, if any.
13. INDEMNIFICATION Users agree to fully indemnify, defend, and hold harmless FootScore, its affiliates, Sponsors, officers, employees, contractors, and commercial partners from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, penalties, fines, expenses, or legal fees arising from or connected with the user’s breach of these Terms, misuse of the Platform, unlawful conduct, infringement of third-party rights, or violation of applicable laws or regulations.
14. ACCOUNT SUSPENSION AND TERMINATION FootScore reserves the unrestricted right to suspend, restrict, deactivate, or permanently terminate user Accounts and access to the Platform at any time and without prior notice where deemed necessary for security, legal, operational, reputational, or commercial reasons. Upon termination, users immediately lose access rights to the Platform and may forfeit accumulated points, rankings, rewards, or promotional eligibility. FootScore may retain certain information following Account termination where required for legal compliance, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, regulatory obligations, or legitimate business purposes.
15. FORCE MAJEURE FootScore shall not be liable for any failure, delay, disruption, or inability to perform obligations arising from events beyond its reasonable control, including natural disasters, cyberattacks, internet failures, telecommunications interruptions, governmental actions, wars, strikes, labour disputes, pandemics, energy shortages, infrastructure failures, or technical incidents.
16. GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION
These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Cyprus. Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms, the Platform, or any related matter shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Republic of Cyprus.
17. MODIFICATIONS TO THESE TERMS FootScore reserves the right to amend, modify, replace, or update these Terms at any time at its sole discretion. Updated Terms become e ective immediately upon publication on the Platform unless otherwise stated. Users are responsible for periodically reviewing the Terms. Continued use of the Platform following publication of revised Terms constitutes full acceptance of such modifications.

5. LEGAL BASIS FOR PROCESSING FootScore processes personal data under one or more lawful bases recognised under the GDPR. Processing may be necessary for the performance of contractual obligations arising from the provision of Platform services to users. Certain processing activities are necessary to comply with legal obligations applicable to FootScore, including regulatory compliance, fraud prevention, and security obligations. ANONYMISED, AGGREGATED, AND COMMERCIAL ANALYTICS DATA By using the Platform and/or creating an Account, users expressly acknowledge and agree that FootScore may generate, analyse, process, and share anonymised, aggregated, statistical, analytical, behavioural, and engagement-related data with sponsors, advertisers, commercial affiliates, associated companies, marketing providers, analytics providers, and strategic business partners for commercial, promotional, research, advertising, analytical, and reporting purposes. Such anonymised information may include engagement trends, competition participation statistics, prediction behaviour patterns, regional activity trends, demographic categories, interaction metrics, campaign performance reports, device categories, and aggregated usage statistics. FootScore does not intentionally disclose directly identifying information such as full names, personal email addresses, passwords, or other directly identifying personal data to sponsors or advertisers for promotional purposes unless users separately consent or disclosure is otherwise legally permitted. Users expressly acknowledge that anonymised data analytics and commercial reporting form a core operational and commercial component of the Platform.
7. MARKETING COMMUNICATIONS Users may receive service-related communications, notifications, updates, newsletters, sponsor promotions, reward announcements, commercial offers, and marketing communications relating to FootScore or selected partners. Users may opt out of marketing communications at any time through unsubscribe links, account settings, or direct contact requests. Operational or security-related communications may still be sent where necessary for the functioning or protection of user Accounts and the Platform.
8. COOKIES AND TRACKING TECHNOLOGIES The Platform uses cookies, analytics technologies, advertising technologies, behavioural tracking systems, pixels, session identifiers, and similar technologies to operate effectively and improve user experience.
These technologies are used for authentication, performance monitoring, analytics, advertising optimisation, sponsor reporting, fraud prevention, user engagement analysis, and service improvement. Users may manage cookie preferences through browser settings or cookie management tools. Disabling certain cookies may affect the availability or functionality of Platform features. 9. THIRD-PARTY SERVICE PROVIDERS FootScore may engage third-party providers, vendors, contractors, advertisers, sponsors, hosting providers, analytics providers, cloud infrastructure providers, customer support providers, and marketing partners to assist in operating the Platform and delivering services. Where international transfers occur, FootScore shall implement appropriate safeguards in accordance with applicable data protection laws, including standard contractual clauses, adequacy decisions, contractual protections, or equivalent lawful mechanisms. By using the Platform, users acknowledge that certain processing activities may involve international data transfers.
11. DATA SECURITY FootScore implements commercially reasonable technical, organisational, and administrative measures designed to protect personal data against unauthorised access, misuse, disclosure, destruction, loss, or alteration.
Such measures may include access controls, encryption technologies, authentication systems, monitoring tools, internal restrictions, secure hosting environments, and cybersecurity protocols. However, users acknowledge that no internet-based system, transmission method, or electronic storage mechanism can be guaranteed to be entirely secure. Accordingly, FootScore cannot guarantee absolute security of information transmitted through the Platform. Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their Account credentials.
12. DATA RETENTION FootScore retains personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including operational requirements, legal compliance, security monitoring, dispute resolution, fraud prevention, commercial analytics, and enforcement of agreements. Retention periods may vary depending on the nature of the information, legal obligations, contractual requirements, regulatory considerations, operational necessity, and legitimate business interests. Certain anonymised analytical or aggregated statistical information may continue to be retained indefinitely where such information no longer identifies individual users.
Users may request deletion of their Accounts and personal data subject to legal, regulatory, security, fraud prevention, and legitimate business retention requirements.
13. USER RIGHTS UNDER GDPR Under applicable data protection laws, users may have the right to request access to personal data held by FootScore, request correction of inaccurate information, request deletion of data, request restriction of processing, object to certain processing activities, request portability of certain data, or withdraw previously granted consent. Users may also have the right to lodge complaints with the Office of the Commissioner for Personal Data Protection in Cyprus or another competent supervisory authority. Such processing may involve segmentation, behavioural analysis, campaign performance evaluation, statistical modelling, and interaction analysis. No solely automated decision-making producing legal or similarly significant e ects is intentionally carried out without appropriate safeguards where legally required.
16. THIRD-PARTY LINKS AND EXTERNAL SERVICES The Platform may contain links to external websites, sponsor campaigns, social media services, advertisers, or third-party platforms not operated by FootScore.
FootScore is not responsible for the privacy practices, security measures, content, or operations of third-party websites or services. Users interact with third-party services entirely at their own risk and should independently review applicable privacy policies.
17. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY FootScore reserves the right to amend, revise, replace, or update this Privacy Policy at any time in response to legal, regulatory, operational, technical, or commercial developments. Cookies also assist FootScore in understanding how users interact with the Platform, which features are most frequently used, how promotional campaigns perform, how sponsors engage with audiences, and how overall user experience may be improved.
3. TYPES OF COOKIES WE USE The Platform may use strictly necessary cookies required for the operation and security of the Platform. These cookies are essential for basic functionality such as user authentication, session management, security protection, fraud detection, network management, and accessibility features. Without such cookies, certain parts of the Platform may not function correctly. FootScore does not directly control third-party cookies or third-party processing practices and users are encouraged to review the relevant policies of third-party providers where applicable. Third-party services used by the Platform may include analytics providers, cloud infrastructure providers, advertising technologies, behavioural analytics systems, customer engagement tools, sponsor integrations, and social media services.
5. ANALYTICS AND COMMERCIAL REPORTING FootScore may use cookies and tracking technologies to generate anonymised and aggregated analytical reports relating to user engagement, competition participation, prediction trends, campaign interaction, demographic categories, traffic patterns, sponsor performance, and Platform usage. By continuing to use the Platform, users acknowledge and agree that anonymised engagement metrics, behavioural analytics, campaign performance statistics, and aggregated usage information may be analysed and shared with sponsors, advertisers, commercial partners, analytics providers, and associated companies for promotional, analytical, reporting, statistical, commercial, and marketing purposes. Such information does not intentionally identify individual users by name, personal email address, or other directly identifying information unless separate lawful consent is obtained.
6. LEGAL BASIS FOR COOKIE PROCESSING Certain cookies are strictly necessary for the operation and security of the Platform and are processed on the basis of FootScore’s legitimate interests and operational necessity. 9. DO NOT TRACK SIGNALS Some browsers may provide “Do Not Track” signals or similar privacy settings. Due to the absence of a universally accepted standard for such signals, FootScore does not currently guarantee automated responses to all browser-based tracking preferences. However, users may still manage cookies and tracking preferences through available consent and browser controls.
10. SECURITY AND FRAUD PREVENTION Certain cookies and tracking systems are used to detect suspicious behaviour, prevent fraud, maintain Platform integrity, protect user Accounts, monitor technical performance, identify malicious activity, and enforce Platform security measures. 11. CHILDREN’S PRIVACY
The Platform is intended exclusively for users aged eighteen (18) and above. FootScore does not knowingly use cookies or tracking technologies to intentionally collect information from minors. If we become aware that information relating to minors has been collected unlawfully, we reserve the right to remove such information and terminate associated Accounts.
